  I'm looking to hike the North Boundary Trail in Jasper at some point this summer. Was thinking I'd do it solo but company is more than welcome. I've done day trips in Jasper before but this would my longest trip yet. There are lots of primitive campgrounds along the trail with firepits, bear poles and pit toilets. Some descriptions say that all major creek crossings .   The trail at the North Boundary Greenway has a bit of history. Some of the trail once was used as a patrol road to keep watch around Oak Ridge when it .

The North Boundary Trail book the City of Oak Ridge, the North Boundary Trails offer 15 miles of multi-use gravel/dirt roads. Parking is available at the guard house at the west end of the Oak Ridge turnpike, the gravel North Boundary road skirts around the end of a gate.

The North Boundary Trail along its length provides both the spectacular alpine beauty of the Mount Robson area (highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies) as well as immense stretches of unique solitude. A wilderness of broad valleys and distant views, inhabited only by Grizzlies, wolves, and caribou.

Hiking the Boundary Trail is an adventure on many a hikers’ bucket list. The trail spans the width of the Pasayten Wilderness and is part of the much larger Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail. The combination of stunning scenery and lack of crowds is one of the BT’s most enticing aspects especially in autumn, when colors are changing, temperatures are /5(4).

Detailed Description: The Boundary Trail is a long haul, year round backcountry route exploring both the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. The trail is divided into two distinct sections called the North and South Boundary Trail.

The Alberta section of the Boundary Trail is considered the longest backcountry trail in Jasper National Park. North Boundary Trail - Miles Round-Trip The North Boundary Trail stretches miles from the Cow Creek Trailhead in the northeast corner of Rocky Mountain National Park to the North Fork Trail intersection along the North Fork Big Thompson River.

This strenuous, lightly used trail climbs three major hills and crosses several major drainages en route.
